Thunderbird Mountain in Northern Glendale, Arizona is one of the smaller mountains in Phoenix. The trails are not very difficult and are great for riding bikes, walking dogs and running. The new University of Phoenix Stadium, home to the Arizona Cardinals football team, is visible from this mountain on a clear day.
