Squaw Peak Summit Trail in Phoenix, Arizona

Squaw Peak Mountain's Summit Trail in located in Phoenix, Arizona and is now called Piestewa Peak. This is park of the Phoenix Mountains and Dreamy Draw area. The Summit hiking trail has great views of downtown Phoenix and the rest of the valley. This is one of the more challenging trails in Phoenix as it is very steep and rocky. The hike is only 1.2 miles up, but the difficulty of the trail makes it a great workout.

The Piestewa Peak Recreation Area is located at 2701 E. Squaw Peak Drive, which is right near 24th Street and Lincoln. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information call 602-262-7901.
